The Costa Rican Trade Promotion Authority has actively participated in the process, along with other public institutions, to design a national strategy to enhance Costa Rica in the international field.

Facts and Figures

On March 22, 2013, by a presidential decree the Country Brand essential COSTA RICA was created. This decree declares that every activity carried out by the country brand is of public national interest. The brand promotes companies in the commercial and tourism sector and it is managed by the Costa Rican Tourism Institution (ICT), the Ministry of Foreign Trade (COMEX), the Costa Rican Trade Promotion Authority and the Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency (CINDE).
